I studied here in the summer of 2010. My teachers were great (Luis and Pedro I think). The school also organizes excursions to places such as Segovia, Salamanca, and Toledo on the weekends which were thouroughly enjoyable. The guide for the excursions was the best, hardworking and very knowledgeble about the places that we visited. My one problem was with my first accomodations which were completely unacceptable and scary. After complaining the situation was remedied I was put in a increbible house. The secretary also had a little bit of an attitude, and I will just say that you should not pay in advance or you will have lost any ability to negotiate from a position of strength.

A good school though slightly disappointing when compared to the very high standards of the rest of the dq chain. I think the problem is that many of the students attracted to Madrid are there more to party than to study. Accomodation can be as much as an hour away by metro so homework time is also limited if you want to combine study and play. The school is a bit basic (I guess Madrid rents are v high) but the teachers are friendly and it is a great city for nightlife.
