I stayed a week at Atahuelpa, and have since recommended it to several others. As a wonderful bonus, when I returned to Quito for business, I was able to stay with the owners, in their home, and they have become good friends to me. I wish I could return for more learning - I learned so much in the short week I was there. I am convinced that six weeks would give me a conversational level in Spanish. We spent the mornings in class, learning, and the afternoons exploring the city and nearby towns, using what we had learned in our conversations with others. HIGHLY recommended!
