I am impressed that the director can communicate in German, French, and English.
Evaluation from marcnic:
A great school with great teachers.
Evaluation from nursemary98:
I learned alot and teachers were generally great. The beginning class teacher had little experience and wasn't truly fluent in english. Others teachers were much better. Organization could be better. We wasted bascially the first 2 hours of the first day as everyone filled out a placement test and was interviewed. This is necessary of course, but the test could have been done beforehand and the evaluation process speeded up. We had a lovely stay with a wonderful family but the home was too far away, we had to rent a car which is very expensive, better to stay in town at one of the small hotels for about the same price.
Evaluation from fredthorsell:
The entire staff were pleasant and accommodating. The teachers were very competent and were well prepared. Although there was a curriculum it was possible to focus on areas of weakness and breeze through areas of strength. I would definitely recommend this institution to friends and family. It was my son's first attempt to learn Spanish and he felt encouraged and motivated every day. Three weeks was sufficient for us only because we wanted a week to play tourist. It will certainly be more possible after our experience at CICC. Ojala puedes visitar esta escuela para aprender espanol y para disfrutar la ciudad de La Paz.
Evaluation from ljadolph:
A great place to make friends while learning Spanish in La Paz. Curriculum is very flexible according to student abilities;teachers are friendly and fluent native speakers. I hope to go back again in 2015. The school is very homey and convenient to the town.
Evaluation from esimoneau:
only 1(me) or 2 students per class during my 2 weeks-good personalized approaches to students and mix of teachers appreciated. Home stay family lovely but out of town so was difficult to be a tourist from there. i stayed one week in town and one at family. good push for me to speak-living in mexico now!
Evaluation from perrym:
I had a great time at CICC and learned alot of Spanish during my stay. I went to La Paz not knowing more than 10-20 words of Spanish and after 3 weeks my vocabulary increased tremendously. The teachers and all of the staff were very friendly and knowledgable. My home stay was wonderful. The accomodations were more than I had expected, the food was delicious, and the family I stayed were very helpful and made me feel at home. I would recommend this school to anyone.
Evaluation from marshapecaut:
My husband and I LOVE La Paz and it's beauty and people and the CICC school! Right now we are trying to figure out how and when we can go back for our fourth time. Marc, the director, is a great man and all the teachers are wonderful. The school is small (good individual attention...I've been a reading and elementary teacher) and the curriculum is very thorough. We walk everywhere and all hours and feel very safe. We have had three different types of living experiences. An immersion experience with a host family was the best because we joined them for meals and as much socialization as we wanted and we came away with being able to speak Spanish (they only spoke Spanish to us). I hope you try CICC in La Paz...you'll want to return like we do each year!!
Evaluation from Michelle:
I had a very structured program, that was taught by my fantastic teacher Martha. I never felt rushed or left the class with un-answered quesytions. I am happy to recommend this school
Evaluation from pcesson:
I stayed one week at that school and found the teachers to be excellent, great location and building and administration. I would highly recommend it. Philippe Cesson
Evaluation from EZucker199:
I attended for a week with my entire family (two school-age kids who study Spanish and my wife, who teaches in a high school where most of the students are Latino). We had small classes and solid instruction that suited our needs. I found the price very reasonable.
