This is a very professional school. I am impressed with the quality of instruction. I will recommend this school without reservation to anyone interested in studying the language.

I had three excellent teachers. Each teacher was very effective at explaining grammar and they were also willing to share intersting stories about their own life.

My instructor has a gift for teaching. I had struggled with the language tremendously until I came to this school.

This is a superior school with comfortable rooms and wonderful gardens.

This school is not a good value. Other schools are less expensive and one can learn equally well.

I studied at PLFM in summer 2010 and was very disappointed with my experience there. While most of the teachers are good, the school suffers from having a poor director. I went to the school with a specific goal and while the director assured me that my course of instruction would be adequate to meet that goal, she never made any effort to ensure that my instruction would have any structure. In fact, for several weeks I was taught the same thing over and over again as my instructor changed each week (school policy), yet I was never taught the grammar that was critical to my goal. I was never given any sort of evaluation of my language skills at the beginning so that a course of instruction could be tailored to meet my goal. It was clear that neither the students nor the teachers support this director. The school's reputation will continue to suffer with its current director.

I spent 6 weeks studying at PLFM and had an excellent experience. The teachers were great! My home stay was great too. I would recommend this school to anyone.
